"In choosing a December wedding we knew the weather could be unpredictable and on the big day Cornwall didn't disappoint! The constant rain and wind could have been disastrous, in those conditions it was really helpful to have a photographer with a calm and professional manner, and thanks to Pervaiz's intimate knowledge of the venue we ended up with some wonderful pictures of us and the guests.
As well as the formal photographs we also wanted to capture some of the more informal moments and Pervaiz's relaxed style enabled him to capture some great natural pictures. He was never intrusive or directing people where to stand or how to look and so it felt like he was simply another one of our friends having fun and celebrating with us rather than someone who was at work and trying to force certain "natural" shots.
Having a good album of photographs was really important to us and we were overwhelmed by just how many fantastic shots he was able to take. Choosing which images would be in the final version was always going to be difficult but we were able to check how it looked at each stage on Pervaiz's web site.
This was really convenient and meant we were able to give feedback to ensure we were happy with the way it was laid out. We're delighted with what Pervaiz has put together and it's something that will give us happy memories of our wedding day for many years to come".

"Arranging your wedding is a truly exciting experience. My husband and I married 3 months after he proposed in the beautiful setting of St Ives, Cornwall.
Our biggest concerns were finding the perfect venue and a photographer to record our beautiful day. A recommendation was made by Tregenna Castle Hotel (venue for our wedding) to use professional photographer, Pervaiz Shah who has worked a lot with Tregenna as well having a vast amount of experience within the trade.
I went onto Pervaiz’s website and was taken a back with the content and professional layout I was welcomed with. I was able to view previous weddings to give me an idea of the quality of workmanship and final portfolio to expect. With everything I read and saw I was truly blown away with the response that this man would be able to record our special day.
We found Pervaiz approachable, understanding, professional, friendly, hilarious, relaxing and much more. He got so involved with the whole emotion of our day as well as making everyone feel important and relaxed.
Everything he did was more than we could ever imagine and the final portfolio including a wall canvas and CD were breathtaking.
I would certainly recommend this gentleman to any couple requiring a perfect record of their special day.

"On the day, Pervaiz arrived early in the morning and we knew immediately that we had made exactly the right choice of photographer. He came into the rooms where we were getting ready and just immediately fitted right in, putting nervous people at their ease and even timing the photographs with the children just right so that they weren’t getting bored and mischievous.
During the day he took the most amazing photographs, but managed to do that without ever being “in your face”, yet always being there in the important moments – and that is what he captured, all the moments of our day – the photographs tell a story, which is exactly what we wanted.
We’ve just received our album and it’s amazing – the memories that it brings about are outstanding, and when we first saw it we both cried with delight. There are not words to say how grateful we are".

"Well, we're currently in sunny Singapore, and its fantastic. We've got a great hotel, the sun is shining, and the liquor is flowing! Its quarter to 1 (pm) here now so we guess it must be about 6am in England.
On Sunday we're jetting off to Langkawi for 2 weeks of bliss in a private resort, lots of sunbathing/spa-ing (Louise), scuba-diving (Rob) and hopefully some great food & to sit on an elephant or two!
We'd just like to say a HUGE thank you for being so good at our wedding. We enjoyed the day so much & I'm even welling up a bit as I write this & think about it (Louise). We had many, many guests come up to us saying "your photographer is brilliant, he actually cares about getting everyone in the photo properly" and "your photographer is brilliant, he took the time to speak to everyone and get involved like a guest would." We think everyone really appreciated your personality & manner and we think we definitely made the best decision with our photographer, and of course, the beautiful venue".

"Wow! What a wonderful day we had, with the photos being proof of this. Pervaiz captured every detail of our special day, and we will always have these as special memories. We were amazed when looking at the photos, how many Pervaiz had taken without us even being aware! He was so unintrusive, which left us free to mingle with all of our guests - who thought he was great fun!
The photos were very relaxed and showed our day exactly as it was - just as we wanted them to be. We not only have Pervaiz to thank but also his son Leon who did a fantastic job with the album design, a process in which we were greatly involved. The finished article is amazing - worth every penny, if not more!

Photographer: We used Pervaiz Shah; we met him at the castle a year before our wedding to see what he had to offer. As soon as we met him we knew he was perfect for the wedding.
We felt that we had to connect with the photographer for our wedding as it’s a big part of the day and the end result is something you keep for life. Pervaiz is easy to get along with, open to suggestions, knows the location very well, has years of experience and enjoys his job very much!
On the day he made us & our guests feel very relaxed, he was not demanding, didn’t mind guests taking their own photos and even helped them to get a good shot of us. He was very good with children and also took shots without us having to constantly pose which for us was ace as you can enjoy everything that’s going on.
The highlight for my husband & I was after the wedding breakfast Pervaiz took us in his car to the local beach which is stunning, it gave my husband and I some time to take in what was happening and enjoy some quality time together on our big day. Pervaiz just told us to go for a walk along the beach and relax, he took some amazing pictures of us and the backdrop of St Ives just looks out of this world for wedding pictures!!!!
Over all we could not have asked for anything more for our big day and love looking back at the pictures. Also all our guests loved the week we spent in St Ives it’s just a very special place.

You were amazing from the word go! Your relaxed mood helped put us all at ease from the beginning. You just fitted straight in & helped keep everyone relaxed.
Despite having not threaded a needle since 12, you saved the day, as none of us could have done it! You were so friendly and enthusiastic, both our guests & ourselves were more than impressed by the way you got involved & your spontaneity.
Now, looking through your photos of our wedding, it confirms just how successful you were at putting us all at ease.You have captured so many special moments & facial expressions, they do not fail to rekindle the emotions we all felt during the day.
