Do you do a disk of wedding photographs? This is one of the questions asked by many of the brides to be when they make an enquiry about the Shah Photography wedding photography services. We supply the photographs on disk as standard as we want our customers to get the maximum enjoyment from the collection of photographs taken on their wedding day.
In the days of film this was not possible as we would not have had a copy of the images for our use for example for promotional purposes about our wedding services.
When a wedding is photographed all of the image files are processed; this means each of the images is opened and adjusted to ensure the very best photograph is supplied to our customers. The cameras are very good but do not necessarily give the result that we require; this could be a colour adjustment, normally contrast and brightness and much more that make our images unique.
Many customers are wanting photographs on disk to keep costs down on the basis that they will create their own album on line using one of the many companies that provide this service. Our designed albums are very popular; many couples who initially just wanted a disk of their wedding photographs have decided to have an album having seen the way our albums are designed.
One of the great things about having the collection of wedding photos on disk is that couples can get prints done for relatives; in fact the disk can be copied and sent to other family members so family and friends can enjoy the photographs of the day.
Please remember that we process all images individually; some are converted into black and white photographs. The image processing for us is not I repeat not an automated service as several photographers offer; each image will require different processing be it colour or black and white to achieve the quality of images that our reputation has been built on. Some of the images are toned and again this is done on an image by image basis, with the amount of toning applied being adjusted for each image.
There are automated processes we could use as used by many wedding photographers but we opt for the image by image processing
which takes longer but creates a far better quality result which is what our services are all about.
Update: 29/03/2014 We now supply wedding photographs on USB drives for our couples. Although they are much more expensive than a disk USB media is now far more widely accepted by different devices.
Update: 03/10/2017 Your wedding photographs will be supplied as digital image files which you will be able to download to any device. The reason for this is so many devices do not have connectivity for usb drives or disks. We have been supplying couples’ wedding photographs this way for the past year and it is a very simple and convenient.
