I had to see a couple in Truro and was delighted when they booked me to photograph their wedding; being in Truro I thought I’d pop in to the Hall for Cornwall wedding Fayre where I met up with Bob from Strawberry Leisure who was showing his VW Camper Vans; he was frozen even though he had his thermals on. On one side of Bob was a white Range Rover Sport and on the other side a vintage touring car. It’s amazing how much choice couples have these days for their wedding transport.

Seems hard to believe that we’re in mid July. One of my busiest weeks took place in June covering no less than 1500 miles photographing a wedding at Polhawn Fort near Torpoint, shoots in London on different days, meeting with couples in London and Cornwall who are getting married in Cornwall.

Why do “wedding photographers” do this?

I watched Watchdog on BBC1 this evening during which there was a feature about a wedding photographer who was providing a less than professional service  to couples getting married, claiming to be a photographer with many years experience.

Here’s a photograph of one of my favourite beaches, featured in my wedding photographs in Cornwall, where I often go to enjoy all it has to offer. Fresh, clean air, normally a breeze gorgeous sea views and today glorious sunshine. This is Gwithian near Hayle which is only a few minutes drive from where I live and where I love to walk to think and focus on my plans for the future and how I will get there.
