Bride's Arrival for her Outdoor Wedding

The scene is set; the guests are seated, music is playing, the groom is waiting for the arrival of his stunning bride, the registrar makes the final checks.....I'm super excited and loving every moment as the day of this wedding unfolds.

Wedding Tregenna Castle, St Ives, Cornwall

I love this shot of this gorgeous bride making her way to her outdoor wedding ceremony. She was blessed with wonderful weather as she made her way bathed in glorious sunshine. It makes such a difference when the weather is as good as it was for this wedding. Being by the coast a gentle breeze helps to keep nervous brides and grooms cool along with their guests. Sun cream for all, including me, is always advised in the Cornish sunshine.

The Bridal Preparation

The bride excitedly got ready at Tregenna Castle during the morning of her wedding day. With accommodation on site it makes weddings at Tregenna Castle very convenient for the bridal party and guests.

Capturing Special Moments Throughout the Wedding Day

I like the bride's totally natural expression, the way she is holding her flowers and the bridesmaid helping the bride with her beautiful wedding dress. Capturing moments like this as each wedding I photograph progresses is great fun - lots of anticipation and being at the right place at the right time is really important.

Natural Wedding Photography

Most couples I photograph on their wedding day prefer very natural photographs that capture the special moments shown in each of their wedding photographs. I'm so lucky to have photographed such a wide variety of weddings.

The final look - Hair and Make-Up done - THE WEDDING DRESS

After the fun of getting ready, during which time flies, I guess one of the most important parts of the day is when the bride gets into her wedding dress. I feel the nerves as the bridesmaids help and often burst into tears when they see the the bride in her dress in all its glory. For the bride, it's the first time she'll see herself in the mirror with her hair and make-up done in her wedding gown - the first glimpse of the final look, oh yes.
